Preadvice visitors/cargo
According to the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS) all visitors, cargo and vehicles intended to enter any of the port terminals shall be preadvised. Preadvice shall be made latest 24 hours before arrival or according to agreement. Visitors must be able to present valid adequate ID at all time when inside the terminal areas.
Access-ID
Frequent visitors may apply for a access card for quicker entrence to the terminals.

All who wish to apply for a access card or shall perform any work within Port of Karlshamn shall carry out a Port Security Course (E-learning) before arrival to the port.

Notification of arrival is done on a special form which can be obtained from the Port of Karlshamn Port Services department or downloaded as a PDF file on this page.

All terminal operation is subject to the General Conditions of the Swedish Ports Association 1989. To the extent these terminal conditions not regulate the terminal assignment due respect all other assignments, Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders General Terms (NSAB 2000) shall apply with the exception of NSAB § 27C paragraph 3, the commitment to subscribe property insurance during storage.
